RT Productions (the parent company of WorshipHouse Media) maintains three points-of-presence on the web: IgniterMedia.com, WorshipHouseMedia.com, and CollideMagazine.com. The right candidate will be enthusiastically involved in all web development at RT Productions (including the sites above) and be able to weigh business decisions against technical ones. This person will participate in determining application requirements, software design, and implementation of the application.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Architect, design and implement new web applications and the integration of existing web applications
* Maintain and enhance existing web applications
* Make recommendations about implementing the use of new tools or technologies as they serve to improve the development process and/or the web application user experience
Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree or equivalent (Computer Science or related field preferred)
* 3+ years web application development including application architecture and design
* Deep experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
* Expertise in one web development platform (such as .NET, Java, Ruby, ColdFusion) and the ability/desire to master a new development platform, if necessary
* Web design experience is a plus
* Good understanding of SQL
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
