WAY-FM Media Group, Inc. (a non-profit Christian media ministry) is looking for a qualified web developer to fill a full time position within our Web team. The Web Programmer’s responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing our current sites
- Planning the next phases of site development
- Launching new websites
- Maintaining WAY-FM’s web presence across multiple web properties
- There will also be some lite server admin duties.
Basically, top to bottom management of WAY-FM's web universe. (though graphic design skills will be helpful, they are not necessary...we have in house graphics people)
If you're interested, you should dream about code, obsess about great design, and have a desire to help fulfill the mission of WAY-FM and its stations. You should be able to write XHTML, PHP, CSS, and Javascript in your sleep while simultaneously working in technologies like MySQL, Linux, Apache, OS X, and Dreamweaver. You should know what Web 2.0 means and have ideas about how we can get there. For that matter, you should also know what Web 3.0 means and how we can be a part of that trend as well.
You will be reverse engineering our existing site, developing new sites and new web applications, and building a more robust CMS based on a design that the team will create.
