We are looking to fill this full time position with a person who is a conceptual thinker and able to see ideas through to completion in a rapidly changing environment. As a member of the Media Team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing a variety of graphic designs related to multiple worship experiences, events and publications for ministries throughout the entire church. Requirements Include: - 2+ years experience in graphic design - Associates or Bachelors degree in some field of Media/Design - Accurate and thorough with strong organizational skills & attention to detail - Expert in project management and task delegation - Proficient in current design software, technology and techniques - Knowledgeable in the aspects of branding/advertising with the ability to adhere to The Ark Church brand standards - Self-motivated but able to work well with a team Job Description: - Expected to handle a heavy workload that may vary in nature from big-picture, design-intense projects to weekly or day-to-day tasks that are more production-oriented - Effectively manage team of contract Graphic Designers - Adaptable to working with many different departments to conceptualize, design, and execute deliverables - Member of the Media Team – having ownership and giving design input on all projects Additional Possible Skills Desired: - Photography - Illustration - Stage & Set Design - Service Production Office Hours: - Tuesday – Friday, Wednesday and Sunday Services (plus special event and services as required. Some projects might time after normal business hours.) Pay: - Competitive Salary (plus full medical benefits)
