Description:
Candidate must:
follow Christ and have strong religious morals.
have a solid understanding of the creative aspects of print and web development and web technology.
be eloquent with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign CS3.
be skilled in layout & design and executing creative concepts.
pay strong attention to detail and quality of work product.
have a portfolio of past projects.
be able to work on many projects at once.
have a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent, relevant experience.
Additional Skills (not required):
Have knowledge of Flash, ActionScripting, markup languages HTML, CSS, JAVA script, etc.
Possess strong skills in PR writing.
Job Responsibilities:
Design promotional items and print media
Work with outside vendors for print needs
Organize design schedule
Meet with directors about design needs
Meet with supervisor on a weekly basis to develop promotional strategies for the church
Assist webmaster in developing graphics for the website
