KUMVEKA SUMMARY Kumveka is a non-profit organization that provides communication services to Christ-focused ministries around the world. Our vision: Clear and compelling communication for every Christ-focused ministry. Our mission: Multiplying ministry resources through connecting gifts with passions. We are currently working with ministries in China and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with new clients waiting in South Africa and Ethiopia. Many more are in the works. RESPONSIBILITIES As Kumveka is in the launch stage, the responsibilities of our interns will be diverse. Interns will be expected to provide assistance in one or more of the following areas: 1) Graphic design - Helping the Art Director translate concepts to various applications (stationary, print, web, identity guidelines, etc) 2) Research - All our projects begin with researching the environment in-which the ministries we serve operate. This often will include researching communication practices in cross-cultural settings. 3) Administration - Assisting with the operational details of our ministry including accounting and office management. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTIC REQUIRED Strong belief in Jesus Christ with passion to use God-given gifts in building His kingdom around the world. QUALIFICATIONS • University/college degree in marketing, communication, graphic design or related field (includes students working towards a degree) • Work experience in related field above • Cross-cultural experience (preference for working/living overseas & missions)
