The Communications Ministry at Highland Park Presbyterian Church (Dallas, Texas) is looking for a new full time web manager. HPPC is a church rich in tradition and has a legacy of local and international impact for the cause of Jesus Christ. We are looking for a new multi-faceted team member that has the vision and ability to develop and implement new technologies while continuing to value and support existing services. This person will be a champion for HPPC’s desire to strategically leverage the website, email, and other emerging social media, along with existing channels, to effectively communicate internally and externally. Content is king here. You’ll need to have the gifts to gather, write and produce clear words and graphics that are web-savvy, high quality, and tell a compelling story. The best candidate for this web manager position will have 3-5 years experience in developing and maintaining web sites. Up-to-date standard web development/coding and design skills required, including CSS and the ability to work within a CMS. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. Print design, motion graphics and video production experience is a bonus -- as expected, you must love the term “other responsibilities, as assigned.” Experience in church or ministry environment preferred, but not necessary if you understand the unique aspects of serving in full time ministry.
