The Communications Specialist is responsible for various aspects of creative design work in publications, media, promotional, and advertising collateral for Bel Air Presbyterian Church. The CS will be actively involved in the development and production of these materials primarily through print and web graphic design. The CS will work with all departments within Bel Air Presbyterian Church.
This position requires solid understanding of, and continued education on, web site construction and maintenance, Dreamweaver, Flash, FTP transfer and protocols, and all Adobe graphic design programs. It also requires a creative eye in adherence to Communications Department guidelines and graphic standards.
In addition to having excellent creativity, the ideal candidate will be a strong multi-tasker, have the ability to manage their workflow efficiently, and be able to work as a member of a team. The ideal candidate will also adopt the church’s vision of making Los Angeles the greatest city for Christ, and recognize that his or her position plays an important role in striving toward that vision.
